Need an idea on a custom mando helmet.

They aren't bad...but require a little more work. If you want them to look good you have to fill in and sand the crack where the two pieces come together.
 
Extra work is fine if I can get a decent looking helmet for 30 bucks.Cannot beat that for custom fetts.
Also once you get a couple layers of paint on there the helmet seems to strengthen up.
also do not forget to glue the ear caps down real good, and run a bead of filler along the side seams as well as the top.
