I'm just wrapping up my Pre Vizsla costume from The Clone Wars. The armor is largely the same as Jango's, style / assembly wise, so I did the strapping based on references found in here.
So feeding the straps through the suit and back out the other side to the armor... is it really this awkward? I was fishing my hands down my pants, up the legs, and all over the place. I was able to get it all, and once secured it looked good, but it was a pain!
Is there any clever trick to doing it more easily? I was considering sewing the straps to the insides of the suit so that they'd be in the right position.
Also, do you typically wear under armor type pants, or do you just have the straps on your legs. I'm concerned about comfort, so I think I'll be wearing some heat gear underarmor.
Anyway, more looking for real-world trooping experience than anything else. My Boba suit is easy... no leg armor 'cept for the knees, and those have nice straps right on the outside!
