Got the thighs painted

This is amazing work! Just getting into this because my son wanted to be Boba Fett for Halloween. I had NO idea what I was getting into when I agreed. I'm glad I did, now I will always have a project to work on!

Worked on my belt, kama, left thigh pouch, knees, and started painting the blaster. Don't worry, the blaster will still go through a lot of weathering and have greeblies attached.
I also started the details on the gauntlets. The one pictured is the right gauntlet, the left one will have a chrono, compass, and datapad screen.

Thanks, I remember the original plan for it was more like a DC-15s with a power pack extension under the barrel but when I was cutting it I was like hey, I could fit two barrels in there and it would be way cooler!

I'm doing some work on it today.

Got my workbench mostly under control today and worked on the blaster.
Got most of the greeblies on the blaster and attached the scope. Most of the pieces are off an old sound system console that stopped working years ago. I kept it around because it had awesome buttons and dials I knew I could use.
I'll paint the scope and the few white pieces of sintra tomorrow as well as fix that one crooked button.

Today I worked on my gauntlets and did some more painting on the blaster.
The right gauntlet has a grapnel launcher while the left one features a miniature datapad.

The 'hoses' coming out the back of the grapnel launcher and datapad are cut up pieces of an old broken planet waves guitar patch cord (forgot about the lifetime warranty), and have good weight and flexibility.

Sorry for not posting for like a week. One of the guys at my work went on vacation so I've been working twice as many shifts. After this week I'll be back on track!

Alright unexpected overtime struck but I've got a day off and I'm officially back at it! Got my Lonewolf Customs bucket in the mail the other day and I'm painting it up today. Gonna also take a trip into fabricland and make the flak vest today. Busy this weekend but Monday I'll keep going with the armour attachment.

Got the helm painted up, still gonna do some finishing touches with the brush (clean up the weathering, make the upper cheekbones black, etc.). Laid it all out to see how it looked as well, and it's a big motivation boost! It's taking shape!

Also unveiling the T-21 Light Repeating Blaster I made for my Sandtrooper when I thought I could afford it as my BFG. I know everyone loves the pistol, but sometimes nothing short of a cannon will get the job done.

Digging that T-21! I was thinking of doing one for my mando too, just wouldn't fit the idea of a spec ops desert mando haha perhaps a DLT-19... haha I do want a T-21 though!yours looks pretty solid!

Did some work today and tried on what I can
Attaching the armour plates Monday and getting the other gauntlet hinged up. I didn't put on the knees because they need a bit of tightening. The main new thing is my nifty loincloth. I know a codpiece would be more practical but I really love being able to move without cringing and sit down, so I'll take my chances. I know the backpack probably won't meet mercs standards, but it works as a placeholder for now.

Alright got more work done today and yesterday. All that's left is to attach the shoulder plates, finish that left knee, make the ammo pouches, and put in the visor.
