So I have been building a little while now..I decided a few months ago I want a full completely movie acurate boba fett costume. he has been my favorite star wars character since I was a kid. So its time I have his costume...I started with some fiberglass armor and wasn't too happy with it...so I've been on TDH,a little, bit now and have been browsing through and I saw some solid aluminum armor it looked amazing so I sent cyberpyrot (mark) a PM pretty much begging him to make me some haha so we worked out a deal and I'll be getting a full set in batches as he makes the pieces for me ooh and by the way cyberpyrot is selling them so if you want a set I would PM him ASAP!...
So today I received the shoulder bells to get started on first
I used a dremel to make the dents and a file to make the top gouge and my first misteak happened I was using the grinding wheel head and it was a pain in the ***** haha
So I was talking with cyberpyrot who was also working on his set of armor and he said to use the sanding wheel so I did and oh my god how easy it all became after that haha. I then hit it with a 60 grit sandpaper then a 150 grit and then used the dremel buffing wheel
After that I wanted to see how it will look with paint on it and the natural metal showing through so I masked off the weatherd parts and dents with masking fluid and omg it's beautiful
I'll be sanding it off tomorrow to paint it the right way with layers but I just wanted to see what it looks like haha
This armor so far is absoutly stunning and I am so very excited to see the rest of it...like I said if y'all get a chance and are untreated buy a set from cyberpyrot!
I'll be posting the rest of my build as I receive the armor all advice is welcome please I'm still fairly new and would love to hear from yall!
