Active Hunter
today i want talking about my jetpack,
you know jetpack cost a lot of cash but fortunally i founded a relatively cheap fiberglass kit from chuck ruffin (ruffintoys).
I'm honest, probably is not the best movie replica (as you can seen on jetpack collar or thrusters details) but i think is a perfect compromise between money and quality. so now i post some picture of the rough kit and of the final result.
i have also to say that unfortunately on shipping the packet took an hurt and comes craked on one side but with some easy fiberglass work i repaired it . moreover chuck refund partially me to so i am happy about it!
now the photos
here the crack :wacko
here the kit
here my work. i spent many time to make the surface smooth and removed the bubble or other excess of material . i fixed the rocket with a screw so i can put in/off the rocket .
i used spray cans because is still aven't the airbrush xD i hope you like the result , i'm pretty happy about it .
here the closing system with magnets and a rectangular steel 0,7 mm
