ANIMATED CLONE BOOTS "MY WIP"

Hi again brothers, finally my toon shoe design, thanks by the PM´s sent to me with your pics and comments over How the animated clone trooper shoe should to be.

The lasts was the hard part, I had to wait christmas and new year to recieve the lasts (12 pairs from 8.5uk to 14uk Szs), here a comparition with the live version:


The last for toon has to be square toe and really widht:


I started with the partial impression taking:


after both sideS, is turn to design the central detail:


time to draw the future leather stencils (I could use the PC assitance but is more exciting the handy design):


after cut and sew the leather pieces here the result:


time to start forming the shoe, first the basement:

the next pic is the beta version, I rejected because the zipper is so back and the height was not enough:

IT´S A PLEASURE TO ME ANNOUNCE THAT:
THE FINAL DESIGN it is glued at the sole, I´ll wait the sunlight to make better photo takes tomorrow morning.

Thanks Thrax, will go with velcro, because the width sizes feet variations, in the animated as you can see the disc strap has big diameter that is good because will hide the most part of the inner zipper.
