Wow! This is great reference for my project! The gloss white paint makes all the difference from your first go around with the flat white. It now totally " pops" off the flight suit, definitely has that stormtrooper edge. Awesome!

I'm in the process of working on a similar suit, but based off of one of Ralph McQuarries painting, a concept version of Boba Fett. The one with the 3 small aerators and the thin v shaped visor.

Could you send me a few links where I can pick up stuff like gloves, boots, and armor?

I'm a member of Garrison Carida in the U.S. and I also do freelance art for Lucasfilm through Topps Trading Cards.

Any help would be nice.

Do you mean the helmet that was an alternate on the GG bust and the hasbro concept figure? Also, how close to the McQuarrie design are you wanting to make it or will you be going with the Supertrooper version of Boba but with the McQuarrie helmet?

You'd be best off attempting to make the stuff yourself if you go the McQuarrie route. Skygunbro did make a kit of the helmet a few years ago. They are out there but they are quite rare.

Otherwise this board is your best bet for finding anything. I would suggest contacting ManofWar regarding boots. Hit up GalacticBountyHuner or maybe bobamaker for gloves. There are a few members who make armor but Fettpride offers a non dented set of armor which would be perfect.

The very same helmet, and the person you mentioned that made it, IS the person I'm picking one up from (been in discussions about it with him already-and a concept TK is the next project)

Since I'm new to all of this, every little bit of help is appreciated. I've been using my status as a freelance artist to do my part for the garrison. (I have done all the Star Wars card sets since 2008), so most of the guys let me hang out at the garrison table at shows, and I help distribute the word at my table, by handing out 501st cards to guests.

I also donate art to help the cause as well. But, seeing how much fun everyone has trooping, I wanted to do something more. So I figured that doing something that most people don't troop as would be the place to start for me, and the Fett is the way to go. I have a line on a suit, but doing some research first and going off of the McQuarrie art is the next step. I'll see what I need to make it legal (as much as possible) and post the progress as I go.

I never thought an all-white costume could look cool, but seriously... This is wicked sweet! And for some reason, the cape really caught my attention and it made the entire costume even better! Well done

the Towel (with fringes) should be similar to the one used in the origin shot.
