    Zoltan Tyrell. Jango Finished

Hi everyone. Ive been scouting around here for a short while to see who does what and how much it costs. Im TK-8089 from the UKG. Been thinking what to do next as i kinda want to stand out a little. Jango is a no brainer.

Thought id now say hi now as ive got the armour bits come through from Cruzer(still got some bits to get from him and what a great guy to deal with). Got ammo belt from Seeker(amazing lightning delivery). Awaiting Flight suit and jacket from Bobamaker, Jet Pack from bobby fett uk and ali bits for the gauntlets from Dark-side. So still a hell of a long way to go.

Sooo i thought id post some pics to start off.
Just finished polishing and weathering my armour so this is all i can show at the moment. Im pleased with it up to now.
So, hi guys. look forward to talking with you all.

Looks like you're doing it the right way. Get all the good top quality parts the first time and it will save you money on upgrading later.

Jango is a no Brainer? Hhmmm?

A little questionable about that. Jango is not an easy task to work with. there are a lot of hard items/things to come by.

That is a frosty start to a Jango my friend! Welcome and good luck. These bounty hunters aren't easy to get together into a good looking costume but it's so worth the effort when you are finished. Which never seems to happen. There are always tweeks!

Yeah, a no brainer. As in it dosent take much thinking about which costume is gonna stand out. Dont you agree?
Or does no brainer mean different things in the UK and the US? Means its "obvious"

Ive got the GBX boots as i cant get any others. And im getting the pistols off Cruzer.
The only thing i cant get is the Girth belt.

"...no brainer."-Definitely agree. The Jango suit is just so cool and very noticable...and even very versatile if someone wanted to go EU or custom.

You did a great job finishing that armor.

Re: Starting my Jango and saying hello

Cheers guys. I enjoyed weathering it. I thought it would be pretty difficult but i just put on smears of black acrylic with orange enamel. Wire wool it and the shavings stuck to the orange and took off some of the black. Looked right so i repeated.
I agree Cruzer, nice armour. Dark-side, knees worked out a treat.

As soon as i make anymore progress ill post.

Ha ha, Nice one Cruzer. Thanks for that. Bobamaker says we are still on schedule for this month. Id better start finding some space to put these things so i can work on them.
Still need a girth belt though. The place in the UK that sells bolo keeps saying they will have some in soon, but it never seems to happen.

    Thanks guys

evening. Well ill post a couple of pics but im waiting for the flight suit and jacket as i said above. So not much to post really.

Pic of the Cruzer holsters and blasters. The Seeker ammo belt and piece of leather for the girth.
I love the work of Cruzer and Seeker. Top products.

When i held the helmet i was happy. As soon as i had the lid i knew Jango was just around the corner
    Another Cruzer work of art.

Gauntlet darts off of Dark-side. nice

Test fitted the pieces for the gauntlets.

Just glued the hinge on. CA glue on the base and on the top

CA glue on the base and two part epoxy on top. Trying this to see if there is any difference in strength.

Thats it for now. Ill add as i build.
If there are any recommendations from any of you i will welcome them.

Can u tell me Zoltan Tyrell is your armor CC or actual metal? From the first pics that u posted it is hard to tell. If CC, how did u achieve this look? Looking forward to seeing it completed.

Sure. Its CC. Do you mean its difficult to tell because of the weathering or because the lighting is strange?

If the weathering, i used humbrol enamel orange and a little satin black acrylic.
Just used steel wool grade 0000 from start to finish. Nothing else to sand/polish it.

Only a small update here. Got the Flightsuit from Bobamaker and also the Jacket.
Managed to get a set of MR westars for a good price. These will serve me well for cirtain troops and use the Hyperfirm cruzer ones for others.

Started putting the armor on and ran out of snaps.

Oh and thanks Cruzer, got the gauntlets sorted.

In regards to the armor/ vest attachment. If you CA glue your snaps on the back of your armor first. Put a little rub-n-buff on the snaps you can place the armor on the vest and see the little cirles where you need to puch the holes. I recommend wearing the vest, or at least put a pillow in it before you mark your vest for holes. The armor will sit different on the vest while wearing it than it does when it's flat. I did mine while I wore it, in a mirror.

Nick, looking very good buddy, that is a nice Jango set up. I guess you will be needing this very soon then buddy.

and this to hold it on

I have worked out the lower clip, which is removable if you don't want to use it.

The anchor points have been installed inside to mount the other side of the clips. I just need to give it a final black wash to soften any recessed areas, mount the greeblies and then cut the holes for the harness. Will be with you before the week is out

    You sound surprised

The harness, all in black does have seem to have a harder edge than the Boba one, even though they share the same design principals.

Nick, can you give me your approx build/waist/girth I will then cut the straps to the appropriate length. PM if you don't want to post it and them jeans you have had for ages may be 32...........

OK. Bit of an update on this. Got to the stage you see in the low quality pics.
Not got the hoses attached, no gloves, no thigh armour attached yet, need to put the range finder on the helmet and of course no jet pack. Ive got it i just haven't tried it with everything else yet.
These are pretty low quality pic so i hope t have some better quality one up over this weekend.

Things to remember. Keep my belly in and head down.

    Superb!!!

You might want to raise your jet pack just a little bit though, as it's sitting a tad low. The top edge of the back should be in line with your shoulders.

Did you managed to sort your jetpack out. Weren't you having problems with it dragging down?
