SoCal Garrison March for Babies Mission report

On May 17, 2008 7 members of the Southern California Garrison were joined by a few friends in the March of Dimes "March for Babies."

The team walked 3 miles in costume in 90+ degree heat and raised $2310.

our Team captain received an email from March for Babies Liason

Well, the group was certainly a big hit! And in full costume on such a
hot day - wow! Please let them know that we really
appreciate their
participation.
But as if that wonderful support of the event wasn't
enough, you all
raised $2,555 on top of that! That's so awesome!
Thank you!

I'm still working on securing other photos that were
taken of the group
at the event. I'll happily send them along if I can
get them.
