new Star Wars film

He didnt want to be in this film and leia isnt marketable anymore. It makes sens, but they really need some older characters to keep this from turning into twilight.

I jumped over everything that said spoiler!!! :)
I feel like I'm 11 years old again!
I've got my premiere-tickets and
Only 27 hours to go!!!!!!!

What are you guys doing?
Do you went to the Cinema in costume?
Who's on your side?
Where do you gonna go to watch it?

Postman, I'm going to a Pre-Release Party in costume. But I am waiting till Sunday 20th to see the movie. I am hoping a few in my garrison will be kind enough to tell me about it so I can gauge whether or not my children actually get to sit through this move. I never allow them to see a movie before I screen it. This will be a first for me. :( And I'm hoping it's not bad judgement on my part.

Oh and Postman, nothing I've said is actually anything more than conjecture. I am not privy to anything concrete. So no spoilers from me.

Possible spoiler.

Rey and Kylo are sister and brother. Han and Leia's kids. After being told about the events that lead to the fall of the empire. a young Kylo become obsessed with Vader. Rey was never told in fear of what happened to Kylo , she was sent away to safety when the 1st order began to gain strength.

It's an action-movie!
A bit more cruel and bloody, than the classic ones.
It is called wars!!! And people get killed in wars.
For kids, I think it was cruel too, when Anakin killed the young Jedis and the tusken.
If that was O.K. for your kids. This movie is O.K. too.
You will find a lot of stuff, from the classic trilogy. Props, dialoges..... sometimes the jokes are bad. But there is much more cool stuff.
The atmosphere is fantastic!
My opinion: watch it in 2D, not in 3D.
I think this is all I can say for now, without any spoiler!

Just watched it,was pretty good & had the old feel to it but honestly I'd would've preferred just to leave things as they where & they all lived happily ever after....lol

a friend asked me, what I think, right after the movie. I gave it a 7 out of 10.
So - very close to syllander.
The story is not complex enough to me. To easy.
some of the jokes where to bad, to lough about it.
But I really like the style. How it is filmed, the costumes, the scenes...
And they did a great pick with the new main actors Ridley and Boyega are great in their roles.
Kylo Ren is not what I expected and he will never be a second Vader.
But what I liked most is how they present the Millennium Falcon. In my eyes, the ship is a main actor!

And "Yes Furious" much better than the prequels!

I want to see it again soon! :D

All I can say is that this was a tough job filled by JJ Abrams. Whatever Lucasfilm/Disney paid him for this, they got a good deal. Honestly, the TIE Fighters have never drawn my attention like they do in this. They look ***** amazing!

I'd give it an 8. I liked Ren.
It felt like Star Wars. Literally if you know what I'm saying.
Carrie Fisher can't move her face. Hilarious but distracting

Solid 8. I've got to see it in 2D now, as intended. It fits easily into the OT scheme of things (atmosphere, vibe, humor, look). Delivers on the 30 year cinematic absence of the Falcon, for real. It's hard to see my heroes get old. Basically all of the new main characters seemed like real, vested people. Definitely a multiple theater view for me.

Kylo Ren looks like Josh Groban that was way to distracting for me.I don't want to cause an uproar and say I dident like it,but the droid made me smile.

I didn't like it. The dialogue was too leading. The jokes were bad, and the depth of each character was too shallow. In every other film you didn't have to be given a whole primer on each character in the movie to figure out who they were and what they had been doing. I also just didn't like some of the choices they made in the story line. Some of it was too much of a rehash of old plot line and the rest was too "look it's a Star Wars film" to me. I hate being so negative about it since I really wanted to like it. I did like the props and effects but that may have been all that got me engaged.

I thought the movie had a great opening scene compared to the other 3 messes back in 99,02,&05....after that it slowly kinda went away with some nice here and there moments
