MachineCraft
Active Hunter
Hey guys!,
I was ecstatic to get these in and just wanted to share my progress on them over the past couple days!
When they arrived.:
Had to see how the new Mojo spikes would line up!:
Paint's on!:
Spikes attached!M4 x 3/4 screws work best for you guys needing screws for these new spikes! And gorilla glue is heavily recommended in a VERY thin layer)
Sole Dirtying: So I completely stumbled on this but it worked SO well.
-Get a wide paintbrush (as wide as the sole)
-Wet the brush in a cup of water
-Wipe the wet brush on the back of your fireplace where the brown icky residue is
-Wipe that residue all over the sole of the shoe and then WIPE it off with a paper towel
-Apply another coat of this residue/ash and this time DAB it with a paper towel:
This is the result-
And finally. A shot in some natural light (it's cloudy here today):
I hope you enjoyed checking these out! A big thanks to Spideyfett for his guide on what colors and methods to use. To Christian for coming out with an awesome boot. For Gav for the incredible quality spikes, and lastly to Deadland and Fettpride for cheering me on as I jumped into this project head first!
