Shoulder studs

I have been looking around various threads about the ROTJ shoulder studs, I would like to know more about them from what everyone else has done, used etc, about what part they play?, do they hold the nexk and back armor together?, do I pin the shoulder cape under one of them? details like that also size and shape would be helpful

Hi buddy. Yes the studs do indeed hold the neck and back plate together. The cape fixes under the far left one (as you're wearing it).

As for size mine measure 17mm x 17mm x 8mm high. They are tapered towards the top also. A lot of people have used computer keyboard keys before.
