someone awhile back showed a picture where you can clearly see that it had faded from blue to greyish, there were still places that were blue in the folds and such...I would think that it would have faded alot in the sun and over time. and to answer the question of film/processing having an affect on color: As something of a resident expert in that being a photographer and working in a photo lab, I can say most definately yes. Colors in printing shift dayly, even hour to hour based on how the chemestry in both the film processor and paper processor change. There is also a great deal of difference between various films (Kodak is horrible, I will only shoot Fuji) not to mention colors vary depending on who is printing at the same machine. This is all assuming we are talking about the same scene under the same lighting. Phew...
How about the Jango jumpsuite? Darkblue, lighterblue, or a sort of purplish color? It all depends on the picture.
I say definately pick a color you think you like or you think is most accurate.
