ROTJ armour paint up

Recently acquired some sintra armour painted in an autoshop paint, it's thick and slightly cracked in some areas and I want my entire Fett to be similar in paint styles

So my first question is how do I remove the paint.

My second question is what kind of paint should I use and what numbers for an airbrushed set of armour.
I'm doing humbrol for the bucket, so I'd assume humbrol is used on the armour? I've tried to search and search but mainly all the humbrol paint ups I've found are ESB.

Is that what Rafalfett lists as well, thought it sounded close to rustoleum but kinda close to tamiya.

i recently painted a rotj armor, i used esb colors (silver,yellow,hidden green) and tamiya rattlecan for the main green

Is there any other Tamiya I can use for the build?

yes because we know that the rotj armor was painted over the ESB armor and in some points we can see the esb green. you can see that in rafalfett templates

Is the hidden green those little areas on the armour that are lighter than others? Could I have an example?

yes it's ! like in the abdominal plate

Deathproofs paint seems to be pretty reliable, should I maybe just dabble with that?
