Ok this is just some food for thought.
After looking at all the pictures of the neckseal pics in my cargo hold thread and Daz's here:
http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/showthread.php?t=22529
I was thinking, just purely because having made a few neckseals and this has been known to happen.
That maybe when the original neckseal was made it was made too small. And when it was fit on Jeremy, being that it comes up so high on the neck where it tends to be a bit tighter because of a mans adams apple. It ended up being to small on the high end close to his chin. Where this velcro is. Possible?
Yes I do believe so.
Anyhow If you look at the pictures the neckseal laps itself at the bottom and at the top where this velcro was later added after the construction of the neckseal. It barely meets up with itself.
I just felt that maybe it was a greater possibility that this was the case and why it looks the way it does.
They were thinking, "Well instead of making a new one, here just stick this velcro here Voila!"
But... if this is how you choose to have it done I will gladly do so.
Just a seamstresses opinion about the matter after thinking about it for the last two days. Or should I say my interpretation of the accurate neckseal and why it looks the way it does.

PS I think the same can be said for the odd shaped pouches, Maybe one set was made a certain shape and another set was a more rectangular shape and the sets got mixed up.
Hey I know I think too much!
