So it took me about 3 weeks to finish, and probably a month to find material. Not as hard as I thought it would be, honestly. If you want me to show you how I did it, let me know and I will put together the steps.
if you are wanting to do an ESB Fett, the cape is tan and orange, not red and the gauntlets are green. Honestly, a screen accurate set-up is one of the hardest costumes to make! Not a bad first attempt, but keep doing you research and study all the great reference here!

The adult in me that has spent too much time staring at screen shots says "Hey look! It's a not very screen accurate, but still recognizable Boba Fett!"
I agree with Dom! It's not very hard just expensive. The hardest costumes to make are the ones that can't be bought and take a lot of talent to scratch build.
With that said it looks alright for a super strict budget. It's definitely a combination of ROTJ and ESB. I'd repaint the jetpack if you want to stick with ROTJ or repaint the gauntlets for ESB.
Perfect for going out on Halloween, with the damage-n-drunks that you will encounter. You can still get the character across and have fun without worrying about someone breaking your super-rare 1970s found part or piece that somebody took a year to ship to you.
How did you attach the armor to the vest? If you didn't do snaps, try that method and/or add a few more to keep those armor edges from sticking out away from the vest.
Yeah some parts are wrong. I just always wanted to see him with a red cape. The jet pack color scheme was something I didn't really like so I changed it as well. Maybe not my place to change I might rethink it later on.

Being a noob, I would love to get the info on your build. I like the Idea that for a first build it was inexpensive. While I realize not everything on it is screen acurate, this build looks like a great place to start for a beginer like me.
