Wiring the stalk with electronics

Evening-

I have built the ears and looking to kill some time while it warms up outside so I can finish sanding the dome. I know that there are a few people that provide electronics to make the stalk move, but I was hoping to do that myself and learn some new skills, but I have no idea how. I was wondering if anyone has done this and if they would be able to provide me with some instruction. I am looking for a parts list or a how to, anything to get me in the right direction. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check out the first sticky in this area of the forum. The RS Zip Zap MIni RC Thread. I followed that one. I used a different RC car seeing they don't make the Zip Zap anymore, but essentially it is all the same. Which Fett are you working on?

Ah, how did I miss that, thank you for pointing it out! I am building a cardboard Boba Fett helmet based of AntMan's tutorial.

If anyone has more information, I would greatly appreciate it, I am really hoping to learn how to scratch do this and possibly apply it to other projects.
