This my very first post, but I've been following the fb page for sometime now. I saw this helmet posted on the fb page and was wondering if anyone knew the man responsible for such an awesome concept! I'd love to ask him some questions. Any and all help us appreciated

I apologize, I was not bashing...just trying to speak in fett talk. I am hardly an expert in fett gear, you might want to reach out to some of the helmet folks here on the forums like Animefan or Bobamaker to see if they have heard of this helmet make. Its definitely different than the norm.

Looking at the pictures you provided I wonder how strong the mask would be on the facial plate area if you actually planned to wear it places. People like Animefan or Bobamaker might give some advice in the construction.

Thank you guys, and crumdum I have just been having a bad day. What drew me to this design was the modern helmet accessories. I have a few IBH and maritime helmets laying about colleting dust. But I already have everything to go with this helmet for a modern Fett costume. Helmet integrity is a big concern for me, as well as the visor. I figured since I saw the image on the fb page I'd start asking around here as to WHICH Fett helmet was used among a few other questions.

I might be one of many lurkers here after that photo was posted onto the dented helmets FB page.

Since then i did a bit of investigating into the Ryan Flowers who Rafal has kindly linked his work. He's now selling the helmet and other pieces for $325.

Unfortunately I'm quite skint and not sure if he'll even post to the UK so i had a go at home. I've already got a cheap £30 fast helmet and have taken the internals out.
Template is made from the skilled contributers on this site.

To make the face plate i've got a 1.5mm thick steel sheet which I'm going to bend and cut using the template shown.

You may also notice that his helmet is completely different. He's actually extruded the entire dome and re applied the NV attachment and added a larger back plate on the rear.
I'm not sure how mine will turn out as like you I'm new to crafting/cosplay and i was inspired by the picture for airsofting.
