Reinforcing/thickening fibreglass armour? ( UK )

I just got my fibreglass codpiece and back armour from Frosty.
Looks GREAT ( Vheers bud! ), but seems a little thin to me for wearing without worry.

Does anyone know what I need to buy ( In the U.K. ) to thicnek it up a bit?
Can I just buy resin and mat and add a few extra layers?

sure can, polyester resin(standard gp resin) and a bit of fiberglass with sort that right out.

Try U_pol products, You can get a fiberglass resin with fibers in it, it is called P-40 and it is easy to use.

You just brush that on then? No need for rollers etc?

Seems my local shop stocks it - £10.99+VAT for 2 litres.
Homebase are £10.99 for 600ml!
