Question on Rectangle on Center Plate

I thought it was white all these years! Sometimes it looks white and sometimes silver so I just went with white.

A lot of people think it is white. It looks white, but that is due to reflection. According to the 501st:

• Center diamond plate between breast plates has an indented silver, vertical rectangle as shown in visual references

That is something I will be looking at a revision on, as I do see the plate added
