pouche to belt?

hi guys, ok call me a nerd but where do the side pouches get attatched to, i thought it was the ammo belt but unsure after lookin at various source pics. this is for a special ed fett.............also they dont have loop so is velcro good enough for them? cheers j

from what I can tell in ESB the pouches are stitched onto the sides of the honor sash. In ROTJ they are stitched just above the ammo belt to either the jumpsuit itself or maybe the rocket(jet)pack harness.

The most certain thing from all the ref images is there there is no loop on the side pouches, and it does not hang off the ammo belt (just over it).
