Padding?

Ok, I don't have a helmet liner. Dont want to go that route. I am curious about the way you install the padding. I am using GM's pic for rference only:

How does the material attach to the bucket and stay? I am also assuming the material is on top of more foam? I am looking at doing mine about the same, but with black material. Glue gun? If so, I have attempted to glue foam into my bucket but it doesn't like to hold to the inside.

Well I dont want to speculate, but He- or someoe else- probubly sewed it up and glued it inside with spray can adhesive, or some sort of glue. You know, the industrial str, velcro holds that foam in helmets. you can sew it to the padding and it would be adjustable, I havent tried that though.

I have used 3M adhesive spray on fabircs before with no problems. I built my own speakers for home theater and the grill cloth stretched over the grills is held on with the 3M spray. I have also used it inside the cabinets to glue accoustic foam on the walls.
Havn't tried it yet inside a helmet though. Would probably work good.

I might have to experiment with it tomorrow..

Yeah that spray adhesive works great. Super 77 by 3M

Where did you get the speaker cloth? I am making my own entertainment unit and want the top 2 doors to have black speaker cloth so I can put speakers behind it.
