Hey, guys and gals.
I've been lurking here for years. I can't recall the first time I started reading the forums, but I've been enamored with the idea of a Fett costume since the late nineties when I saw Star Wars for the first time during its re-release. (I know, right?)
A lot has changed since then. There weren't resources like this for cooking up a Fett costume back then, and even if there were, I didn't have the money to spend on it. Things are a little different now, and after flirting with the idea for several years, I'm ready to get serious about it. I know it's serious this time because my wife has consented.
Just wanted to say hello. For the time being, I'll probably continue browsing and staying quiet, but it's time I at least say hello. I've gotten very close to buying a helmet a couple times now, but I have not yet taken the plunge. That will probably be my starting point. I'm not great with my hands and artistically challenged, so it'll be interesting to see if I can even pull this off.
