My helmet WIP !!!

Today I recieved the helmet from Bobamaker.

I will start working on the helmet coming weekend. I hope it doesn´t take to long to finish it. I plan to use the padding of a old biker helmet for the inside. The Rangefinder will be moveable, but not electical yet. ( I can update that anytime later ) A voicechanger will be added too, as soon as I find a good sounding one over here.

Altough I am doing a all ROTJ suit, I will do a ESB paintjob on the helmet, its just more appealing to me

Well, I couldn´t wait until weekend and already started painting the first parts of the helmet.
Since I suck with the airbrush, I have to use the hand method. The mentioned colors are not available over here so I have to improvise and mix my own colors.
So far, I applied the first coat of burgundy red to the visor, trim, keyholes and circuit board, ( its the same color as I used on the gauntlets ), "off-black" to the cheeks, some leave-green to the left ear and cinnamon brown to the RF-ear. At last I also covered the RFstalk with some carbumper chrome.
Even if I will have to do a second coat, it looks pretty good already.

Finished first coating the helmet today. As mentioned above, the first coat looks crappy. The second one brings out the color perfectly, as can be seen with the rest of my currrently finished armor or as you see with the already second coated RF ear and circuit board
