My first Go at Boba fett!

MrGilley

New Hunter
So not just the first time doing a boba fett costume, but first trying to do any kind of cosplay

Recently purchased a 3D printer and got to work! After many failed prints and reading online about how to paint this stuff, it’s finally ready!

I’m in the process of printing the rocket, getting some hoses for the arm, and adding the gloves!

I plan on adding snd adjusting this Armor as I learn more and get more practice with this!

I’d appreciate any suggestions or tips!

Thanks!

Looking good so far. I think the helmet could use a re-do on the silver damage and some over all weathering washes but it’s coming along well!

actually I didn’t think of a wash! The silver damage was done with toothpaste using the first layer so not sure how I can do a redo, any suggestions?

And as for the wash, what colour would be good? Cause I’m doing up my wife a fennec shand helmet now and it’s very weathered

As far as the paint "damage," I'd try and touch up with the base armor color. Boba's BOBF weathering is much more subtle than on the ESB/ROTJ armor. Take the exposed silver down by about 50% and will look pretty good. The helmet "damage" chips are a bit too big. Overall though, it's coming along nicely!

One question, who did your soft goods?
