Hey everyone! First of all let me say how amazing this site is. I can't say how helpful everyone is and I would not have been able to do this all on my own.
Now, I've been working on this for a while. The main costume took about six months, but as everyone knows the costume is never done. And I've been making small adjustments and upgrades for a year or so now. Most of the pieces are made from scratch or are modified off the shelf items. The only thing that was a fairly big investment was the Asok helmet. The armor was made on my home-made vacuum former using plastic deli platters. The gauntlets and the jetpack are mostly made from foam-core board and items bought at the dollar store. The boots are modified leather dress boots. I know its not screen accurate, and I borrowed different parts from different movie outfits. I was never making this for a 501st approval. No disrespect to them, but I just didn't have that kind of budget. I've had a blast wearing this to cons, and I've had some really great feedback from people. If anyone has any questions about the different pieces or what I used I'll be glad to answer them. Thanks for looking!
