Girth Belt MOW Girthbelt Attachements?

I recently received my MOW girthbelt and it looks great and feels great, but I have one question regarding how it's worn. It comes with two nylon straps that obviously go between the belt buckles, but how are they attached? Do I have to make holes in them?

Can anybody with a MOW girthbelt enlighten me?

i used a eyelet on one end and will have a helper assist me to get the proper length and sew the other end onto the buckle.

sew on 1 end of the grithbelt. And 3 eyelet.

I'm just at this stage myself and was taking another look at the reference photo.



For what it's worth, it looks like the nylon straps are sewn around the first "rung" (leftmost part) of the buckle, rather than the middle part. Also, it looks like the prongs poke through the sewn straps. It looks easier to sew onto the second "rung" as it's a straight edge on the MoW belt, but I thought I'd mention it anyway.
