Help with fibreglass first build

I am in the process of my first helmet build. I am not in any way creative, but it looked like an interesting project so I'm giving it a go.

i have been following this tutorial to build the cardboard structure....

Tutorial: Scratch Build Helmet - Start to Finish by Ori Cabur

its taken quite a few hours so far, but the cheekbone I couldn't quite get flat. Just wondered if you guys could take a look at the attached image and let me know if you think I will be ok with this. I was hoping to get the flat cheek when I apply the fibreglass and filler. I don't really want to start again, but I also don't want to waste my expensive fibreglass and filler if I'm not on track.

any advice greatly appreciated.... Hoping my end result will be half as good as some on this forum!!!!
