The texture feels like it's in the mold on my hasbro helmet.

It looked as though it was from the reviews I’ve seen on it, although it only showed close ups of the dome texture and not the cheeks/mandibles. It seems like it would have to be a separate mold though since it is without a dent. Why would they leave the texture on though?

It appears that the dome is a brand new sculpt hence why we don't see any texture. Interesting to see if this changes.

Q: FANTHA TRACKS

Will the proto Boba Fett helmet be using the same mould as the original The Black Series Fett lid? You can see the sculpted weathering on the cheeks in the images you released last Friday.

A: HASBRO

Due too tooling costs, only the dome will be new, to remove the sculpted yet iconic dent in the helmet. The rest of the parts are reused, so any sculpted weathering will be present.

A cast would be better because of the durability. As far a s the actual difficulty of painting they would be basically the same, although you would ideally want to fill in the seams as well as other modifications to make it right even before painting.
