ESB gauntlet hose diameter....

is there an agreed diameter on the gauntlet hoses?

Well, don't know if this will help but I'm using 3/8 braided PVC hose for my ROTJ gauntlets. I think it's accurate. Got it off an old post somewhere...

Yes 3/8" is correct.There is only one hose on the right gauntlet in ESB by the way

How are we connecting these? Are you drilling a hole and putting in a dowel or something?

Although not accurate, that's exactly what I did (dowel method). I think the original (in both movies) had metal quick connectors, but I'm not sure.

Only ROTJ had the metal connectors. ESB didn't have a visible connector that I can remember.
