Double Commission, Drax and Filer RotJ Helmets

Boardmembers Drax and Filer have commissioned me to paint their Animefan fiberglass Boba Fett helmets in the RotJ scheme! Helmets have been trimmed out and base colors have been applied. Next step are the killstripes...

Paint update...paint progress plus ROTJ stencil pics. Both helmets utilize the stencils.

Another update.Got the back, ears, and dome finished (minus the black ink blots, but I do those very last). Working on the face and cheeks now. Not too much longer...

My helmet arrived yesterday and is awesome as all of AFFO$ paint jobs are! After it arrived I proceeded to wear it around the office all day lol.

It kept wanting to slide down my face due to the weight so I don't have any photos unfortunately
Let me get some padding installed in it and I'll get some good photos for ya'll of Boba's day at the mortgage warehousing office.

Probably just padding. I have a pretty big head and it fits me pretty well without padding actually lol. It just likes to slide down my face and presses my nose against the visor. I think if i just add some foam inside to make it sit a bit higher and not tilt forward I'll be fine. I haven't decided if I'm going to add a chin strap yet or not.

Anyone heard from FettFullofDollar or know if he'll be at Celebration? Due to head for Florida in a few days and was hoping to have time to put the inserts to be able to wear this thing...

I've sent him a message about some other work and he hasn't gotten back to me either. His last activity is showing four weeks ago as well. I know his day job is landscaping and right now is a busy time since it's spring. Hopefully he gets back to you soon man.
