Chest lights ?

Ok, I came across a raspberry pie programmable circuit board... and now I'm curious what else I need to scratch build a display setup?
any help is supremely appreciated!!

Well you will need to wire it up to some segment lights and program the pie to the right sequence, if you look up fett tronics you will get an idea of the layout of these things and what goes into making them.

yeah, what I'm trying to add up is whether or not I'm capable of pulling this off cheaper than just picking up a fully functional pro built piece
