Bondo or Fiberglass?

Hi guys,

I've started looking into making a helmet and decided to get my materials ahead of time but ran into a problem. I'm using AntMan's turtorial and WOF templates and he suggests using bondo car body filler to finish my helmet. But I remember other people using fiberglass resin to do the same thing. Which is better? Is there a special way to fiberglass a helmet? Is fiberglass hardier? Any help is appreciated.

Fiberglass the inside, fill and sand the outside. Fiberglass on the outside will be pretty hard to sand smooth.

i used the fibreglass resin to stiffen the paper build, which made it easier to fibreglass the inside (rigidity), then bondo the outside. lots of info on youtube
