Astromech.net has a bad motivator...Look!

Anyone possible know what happened to their site? It's been down all week.

Gives me an "unable to find webpage" notification. Everything is double-checked for my spelling and its the same link I've been clicking for months.

Are you using Chrome? If so, I have problems with Chrome and that site.

Neither Chrome or Explorer can open it. Weird.

if you ping the site, what do you get back? I get 208.79.205.97

I admit I have no idea what ping-ing is. lol
What do those numbers mean?

Ping is a command that will translate a web name to it's IP address. My guess is that something on your network, be it at your home or however your Internet from, is having problems with the IP address. Do yo have any other computers at your place? If so, try it on there.

Just this laptop but I guess I'll just keep trying and see if it irons itself out.
But what do I do to try the ping trick?

In Windows go to Start -> Run -> try in CMD -> then when the black screen comes up type in ping astromech.net It will give you something like this

Pinging astromech.net [208.79.205.97] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 208.79.205.97: bytes=32 time=45ms TTL=52
