got them hinged. Hot glue and screws.. will mix up some epoxy to make sure they stay. next is figuring out how to keep them closed.

so is the official 501 hinge on the inside "facing the body" or can it be either side? To me it makes more sense to have the hinges on the outside of the arm "facing away from the body" so you have easy access to the snaps, velcro, claps, etc to open the gauntlets. Kind of a time sensitive...

unusual that the hinges are on the inside "towards the body" rather than on the outside so that the wearer can easily unlatch them.
