not sure yet if I make the entire costume, for now I plan to make the shoulder piece.

I use both Ghost, the one with the needle is good for small and detailed pieces and the one with the brush good for large surfaces.
Sanded the first layer of filler on the neck part of the mask, still needs some sanding and extra filling here and there. I think I will also make the round collar/shoulder piece, that would give the model a finished look.
Nuts, a little set back. the styrene I used was too thick and folding lines started to tear open by the tension. Now I got a plate half that thickness and hope it will go better/smoother.
Not sure where I read it but someone made a suggestion that the Millennium Falcon had changed regarding the dish area, wouldn’t that make sense in ROTJ she loses her dish, and this movie being after ROTJ would have that area repaired or upgraded (with apparently a box shaped thing)
the trailer gave me goose bumps...so it did it's job well! That chunky speeder bike thing looks awesome, can't wait to model it. light saber ditto, strange thing also the beam should be clean and sharp not a jagged edge.
finished mask mockup No2, it's getting there, still some minor points of improvement though. I also noticed that the pointy part of the helmet rim (at the nose) is too "pointy" compared to the sketch. So I will even it out a little.
I'm pleased with the way I made the eye pieces, not visible in...
Made a first 3D cardboard mockup of the mask. Overall not bad and definitely the look I’m going for.
The next mockup will be shrunk to 95% of what it is now. The helmet looks too small compared to the mask now.
Also the nose part will be more narrow.
