    Fading the Jumpsuit?

Leave it out in the sun? Wash it on hot a bunch of times? Depends on of it's all cotton or not. Years and years ago, people laid the cloth out on the grass and stood WAY back, and then misted over it with different colors of spray paint. You have to stand WAY back. You just want the...

Official Lisa Fett's Jet Pack Tutorial

I think they were changing servers or something, and that was what made our website go down for a while. Azeem is going to restore the old version of our website, since the new version never got off the ground due to a lot of RL stuff.

Official Lisa Fett's Jet Pack Tutorial

*L* I know, it's crazy to think that anyone would ever want to spend time on something other than costuming. I'm supposed to be wrapping up several different projects before I start school. At this rate, I'm hoping to wrap up one! Azeem is working on getting the new site together again.

Official Lisa Fett's Jet Pack Tutorial

Our website is down at the moment. You can email me for the tutorial, but soon it will be posted on our new site. I have some template copies somewhere, but they are buried since our last move. I'm starting law school at night anyway and I haven't got time anymore to do most of the costuming...

    Boba butt plate?????

I have the butt armor/boba thong. Sintra was too uncomfortable under the belt. I cut mine from vinyl, then carefully glued green fabric on top of the vinyl. The thong is attached and is the same material, totally non-stretchy so it doesn't ride up, and it attaches with velcro under the cod.

Anyone here do physical battle damage to Sintra armor?

I carved damage in using all the nifty dremel attachments available.

Okay - I did a search that gave me nothing on...

Used an x-acto knife and decal paper and made my own decals. I'd just buy the decal from someone, it's cheaper and faster than buying whole sheets of uncut decal paper.

    Jet Pack Templates ***NEW UPDATED***

I have a list of supplies and instructions, but no more templates left. They're lost somewhere in a sea of boxes in my basement.

Discussion, research for the definative Wookie braid layout?

I tried to get my brother to let me cut some of his horse's tail hair off, but he wouldn't let me.

    Creating the Jumpsuit or Coveralls

Oops, it must have been another person. I know there was somebody recently who had trouble with that. I get so many emails about this stuff that I can't keep anything straight. Sorry. :)

    Creating the Jumpsuit or Coveralls

I just thought of a tip for next time, now that I see a picture of exactly what pattern you used. You had trouble knowing exactly how long to make the shirt part, right? You can find jumpsuit measurements here: http://www.flightsuits.com/info_sizes.html If you look up your size, it gives...

What are the Wookie Scalps tied with

You can get a girl's thin black hair-tie elastic thing that's not really elastic. It's silicone or something and extremely thin. Anyway, it will hold a lot better than string, and you can still wrap string over the top of it so that it looks accurate. They're sold everywhere with the girl's...

My Prop Palace Jumpsuit Update - PICS ADDED!!! 10/05 DYED!

FWIW, my jumpsuit fabric originally started out tan. I dyed it with RIT light blue, light green, and finally light gray to get a pre-pro color. You could probably just dye it a dirty looking light gray without even using color remover. Too bad you don't have some test fabric to practice on.
