Airbrush v Rattlecan - best results & techniques?

So would a 0.5mm nozzle give enough of a spread to make painting a back-plate quicker? 0.5mm doesn't sound very big! :P

Airbrush v Rattlecan - best results & techniques?

Hi all, I painted up my Boba Fett many years ago using rattle cans because I didn't have access to an airbrush. But now I have an airbrush with compressor. But I am wondering about whether it's best to use the airbrush just for the details & weathering, or should I take the time to paint entire...

Shoretrooper Armour & Bucket [ROGUE ONE]

Nice, I just checked him out. Looks good. I have got someone else that may be into making the helmet. Just trying to find someone making armour moulds as there appears to be quite a few small detailed modifications to the regular trooper armour.

Shoretrooper Armour & Bucket [ROGUE ONE]

Hi all, my mate and I are interested in getting a Shoretrooper costume built. Does anyone have any recommendation of who we can talk to about sourcing armour and the bucket? Just moulds for now because we'd be able to paint it ourselves. We are aware we may need to commission it as new work...

Raising Money for Charity as Boba Fett

I'm probably going to have to take the pack off for most of the day... won't be possible to survive with it on all day. Not even sure how I'd sit down, the pack would get in the way of the back-rest. That's not a bad shout!

Raising Money for Charity as Boba Fett

Hi TDHers. Long time no see. Unfortunately my job has taken me away from as much costuming as I'd like to do, but I have just found an excuse to get it out. I am thinking of doing a 'Boba Fett to work day'. I'm a web developer and I have to sit at a desk for 8+ hours coding away. So, I thought...

So satisfying to set it up. Just need to mod the head to lift the helmet up off the shoulders a bit.

    Mr Jeremy Bulloch's ESB Costume

RSPropMasters are based in Chester, UK. So I'd recommend talking to them. Their Boba Fett products are very very good. I recently bought a Helmet and Gaunts from them and I'm very very happy. They currently have a new website being built but check them out on Facebook...

HELP: I can't find a thread about someone making torso displays.

I remember seeing a thread about where someone was modding a headless torso mannequin to make a torso mannequin that could support a helmet too? Using poles and insulator? I need to know what insulator to get :P

I will try and chuck some velcro on there then. Also, this helmet arrived 2 weeks ago and was only painted 3-4 weeks ago. Not sure if that was you? Cheers - - - Updated - - - Also, some more photos from another day out. This time in my home city of Bath! :) See first post!
