hey guys,

So as I haven't been on the board for a long time I thought id show something that I decided to build on the spur of the moment last October. It was constructed from scrap wood, ply and I bought the cast from a seller at the RPF. I didn't like the swirls I did at first so redid them over the past week and just added a full acrylic wash to darken the cast a little. The panels were made from scrap and are not angled but its good enough for me. I used pound shop paint, and kept costs to a minimum-the only expense being the cast. I may get proper panels soon enough, or hope that someone will offer cheaper vacuformed versions :)

It isn't the best around and some may pick on the finish etc but its good enough for me :) Ive tried to keep the finish like the one at LF which has a slightly copper /darkened tone on the cast itself.

Good to be back here.
