Hello everyone.. I am not a total noob but I am on this site.. I am a 3d modeler and I like to use pepakura to make armor and helmets.. I have made a few and I have made Clone Trooper armor out of foam and even tho it may not be 501st worthy I was happy with it.. So I decided to make a Commander Faie Helmet because no one has ever finished one.. I am mainly using the Clone Engineer from battlefront as my reference for my 3d model.. Here are some pics of what I have done so far.. Let me know what you think.. I will also post some pics of my other stuff..
After I put fiberglass on it I am now using Epoxy Puddy from smoothon to smooth it out.. It is so much better to work with than Bondo.. Here is what I have got done so far... What do you think?
This is just the first layer and I have only started on the top part... I love the stuff I am working with... Only downfall is it takes so long to cure... But way less sanding than bondo.. Here are some pics of other work I have done..
