clone peps?

I'm wondering if there are any clone peps out there, but LOW definition. I don't want the armor to be perfectly curvy, for I can really accomplish that with bondo and other materials. Yes, yes, I know people don't like pep much, but I spent too much time around the 405th... And, I don't want to use the usual method... I might have something that would work. And I really don't want to buy a kit, I like to spend a lot of time building. can anyone help?

theres a guy called vagabond on the clonetrooper boards and nintendude on the 405th with some clone peps. Not my personal fav unfold. But might be what you are lookin for?

I'll have armor done in a month or so, but I have a couple of helmets. Skupilkinson has a couple of excellent ones for sale on his blog.

Yeah, I checked out Nintendude's stuff. Great guy, I saw a lot of his work on the 405th. Was even tempted to do his Assault rifle, but man, it takes a butt-load of paper. The promblem with those peps are they're really high def. There's about 1,000,000 folds in there. And plus, I don't know of any files for shoulders (unless they're in that .rar file. Need to go and convert it.) I'm going more for somethign like the mk. V suit on this page... http://halocostuming.wikia.com/wiki/Pepakura_File_Index something like that. Unless I just messed around with the other peps... hmmm... BTW: that REx helm is great! Even though I'm not crazy about CW, he's one of the highlights. Enough of the jedi though... (obviously, Karen Traviss hath gotton ahold of me!) Thanks for the help though, guys.

There's about 1,000,000 folds in there.

You can ignore a lot of the "folds" unless you know it's a sharp edge. You can just use them as a guide for the dircetion that the surface has to curve. I've built Nitendude's EpII Clone Helmet, Skip's EpII and EpIII helmets (I'm on my 4th or 5th EpII) and about 1/3 of the way through cutting out his Republic Commando and DungObeetles Rex...

For example the dome of DungObeetles Rex has about 60+ facets but the only real folds are where it meets the fin and ears... all those other fold lines are just telling you it's a convex surface. Same goes for Nintendude's stuff. Skip's work is of a different style he like's having horizontal lines in his unfolds - It gives you a smoother surface but at the price of a lot more cutting. That's the a trade-off, smoother curves on the pep-model mean less filling and sanding later...

I'm building Skip's EpII full size at the moment but DungObeetle's model is hard to beat (not the least because he generously puts it out there for free), the shape is pretty accurate and the part count is reasonable... all it cost is pape, glue and about three night worth of cutting and gluing

Yeah, I just printed out beetle's ep. 2 bucket. I'm working on the dome now, and it's a great model. Once I get some bondo on it, it should be perfect. I guess I'll ignore some of the folds. I did do it in the past though, and it came back to bite me. It's a horse a piece. And thanks DungObeetle for making those buckets for free. I don't have a lot of cash to throw around, and you make things possible through your generosity.
