Special thanks to Phil Moy for taking these. You did a great job! The armor is all my own sculpts and fabrication. The helmet, belt and knees were made by the OSCS trio. Thanks guys!!

mike, your work is phenomenal! you are more than welcome for the pictures. thanks for giving me something awesome to photograph :)

mike also finished my sandtrooper helmet with the small details painted by hand and scratch built the backpack. The suit sold to a member on here a few weeks ago. Amazing artist.

Mike: That order66 image IS awesome! Great sculpt and build.

Do you have reference for the chest strap attachment point? From what I've seen it appears they go 'into' the top of the box. Just curious.

Who made the DC15?

i dunno... i don't think you did a very good job putting it together. send me a kit and i'll show you how its done!

That is one incredible piece of work, I'm blown away. And those pics say it all really.
Thanks for making me feel somewhat inadiquate and yet happy for some reason :)

DC15 is a Polymerarmory, the same guys who make the Republic Commandoes.

And yes, you're correct about the straps going in the belt boxes. There's actually a small detail between the box and belt that i have yet to add, that will give the illusion of it going "in" the box. I was under the gun time-wise to get the suit done for this particular event. I'm currently adjusting and tweaking things I didn't have time to do before.

I'm actually re-sculpting the lower calf piece altogether, the current one is too small and not as accurate shape-wise as I would like.

Thanks again everyone!

Mike,

I've seen the pics on your MySpace profile as well as on the GML forums. Those were impressive enough. These are the first high-quality pics I've seen of the costume. That is a gorgeous costume, my friend! VERY well done.(y)(y)
