Uk Newbie reporting in!

Burnsey1138

New Hunter
Hi guys,
I just signed up here and thought I should introduce myself.

I'm a 32 yr old guy from the cold north east of England (imagine Hoth with more Wampas!) and a member of the Rebel Legion and UKG of the 501st, though currently only have a Jedi costume. I've decided the sensible thing to do is get myself kitted out as good old Boba, who was always a favourite of mine (not alone on that here I guess?). So here I am.

I'm planning a long project here as I'm not the wealthiest guy in the world, nor the most skillful so slow and steady is best and I'm afraid I'll be bugging you all for help and advice.

I read a few post about cost breakdowns and stuff which has really helped guys thank you. I also wanted to say how great it is to visit (and join) a board where everyone is so helpful and friendly, so refreshing to become part of such a welcoming community!

Anyway I'll not take up any more of your time (for now) but look forward to speaking to you all soon,

take care,

D

Thanks for the welcome guys!
And thanks for the info - I reckon I'll be bugging you a fair bit for advice over the next few.... well years probably :)

Can't wait to get stuck in!

Oh and yeah, was out trooping with Jase on Sunday - Nice quiet troop in sunderland, Top Stuff! Just wished I had a Boba to change into too

Speak soon guys,

D

Welcome aboard bro!! I'm in Wales at the moment but will actually be up your way in the new year as we're relocating. I lived up there once before and have to agree with you. Hoth with more Wampas is spot on!! LOL!

Like Nate(Heatshock said, Gav's(Mojo-Fett) your guy. ;)

So where in the NE are you? I used to live in Stockton-on-Tees and will be heading to Hartlepool in Jan/Feb.

I'm in Jarrow, South Tyneside - just outside of Newcastle, God's country! Lol

a town who's culture is based around the Viking warriors who invaded all those years ago - I believe the brochure advertises it as a wretched hive of scum and villainy! :D

give me a shout when ur in the area and I'll show you the sights buddy!

Thanks for the welcome guys, really looking forward to getting to know you all better and getting started on my Boba costume

D

Welcome to TDH fellow Brit. You'll certainly find it an invaluble guide to all things Boba. You thinking ESB, ROTJ or SE?*

*or the various Pre-Pro?

I was torn between ESB and RotJ but now realise the SE are in the mix too!! Think it'll be RotJ for me though - this was my first plan so think I'll stick to it, just like the colour scheme etc, though I will do some more homework on the SE before committing. Any pointers on the main changes in the SE would be great!?

D

ROTJ ROTJ!!!! ROTJ!!!!!
oh and ROTJ SE as well

Mojo is the ESB man ;P

you goign to the informal in n'castle on 22nd then Burnsey? will try and make it myself

Wae'aye man!

Why do I always think of Viz and Biffa?

Anyway, great to have you on board. Currently putting an X Wing pilot together so sure I can bug you just as much.....if not more.

Bobby

The informal sounds great, count me in!

And yeah anything I can help with Rebel wise (x-wing pilot, etc) just give me a shout, I'm more than happy to help where I can.

:D
