Noob from Blighty

Skirmisher

New Hunter
What can I say, I have been a massive SW fans since the 70's and have always been a Fett fan. Only recently have I discovered this forum and can I just say WOW!!
I did not realise there was such a Fan base, I am now determined to bring my child hood dream into reality of putting together my very own BF costume, and hope that I will find and exploit members years of experience so that I can make it the best it can be, I'm not saying the budget is unlimited but over time I hope to have something that is special.

I look forward to chatting with members over the coming months and years.
Any noob pointers are always going to be welcome.
Thanks
Steve

Welcome to the forums and make yourself at home.

The best advice it to read, read, read, and read some more. There is so much info here.

The second thing to do after reading is to decide which Fett you are going to do. There are multiple choices of Boba Fett and a couple of choices on Jango Fett. Deciding which specific kit you want to do will save you time and money.

Again, welcome

Hi Mullreel,
thx for the warm welcome. I guess I prefer the ROTJ outfit, and I am only now beginning to discover there is a very broad difference between ESB and the latter.

I best best lock myself away for a while away from daily distractions to educate myself, thx for the top advice.

And even if you say ROTJ.........then you need to decide strict ROTJ or ROTJ SE.

There are several differences but the most noted one is the helmet. The SE suit uses the ESB helmet which tends to be a favorite. But I have grown to really like the ROTJ helmet. I will be trooping strict ROTJ this weekend for the Dallas Christmas parade. But like you stated there is a ton to dive into.

Good luck

Welcome to the forums. Good to see another potential ROTJ in the works. This forum is teeming with knowledge, advice, tips and encouragement. All the best with your research and build.
