Newbie on a Boushh mission!

Hi all!

Yes, just another newbie here, an Australian currently residing in the UK. I found this wonderful resource in my hunt to get my head around the prospect of a Boushh costume build, of course ..I've never actually attempted any kind of costuming before, so this is probably a truly ridiculous place to start, as a beginner! I definitely be checking out the relevant areas of the board for helpful advice and tips for Boushh, and I'll probably have to consider getting some items made. I've got until SW Celebration Europe in July, so the clock is ticking.

It's a pleasure in advance, to meet you! And if anyone has anything of particular help, that might be Boushh related, please do send it my way. I apologise that I'm not going to be able to offer any return advice in costuming yet, as my experience is limited, but I'll be sure to share what I learn along the way!

Yeah, sadly I literally have nothing yet, except a bit of fabric that I'm thinking of using for the cape! I think I'll have a tough three months ahead to get it done. Thank you, I'll definitely have a good look, Helmetwise, I'm thinking either part with the monies for a kit, or attempt papekura.. I'm certain the latter would probably kill me with frustration. >.< so I'm going to look into who to get a kit from.

Thank you! Yay! I think my main issue, once I've got the helmet kit sorted, is the armour and the tanks and what to make them from. I've never used worbla but I was thinking of looking into the blackart stuff for it, it seems ..relatively idiot proof for my benefit. But if it is tricky, it's an expensive experiment to buy it all, and a heat gun and have it all go badly.

Very welcome there are some great threads on home made jetpacks, tubing and papercrafts come in handy as for the armour the worbla is s good place to start, I'm using abs because it's flexible
