I've been to Comic-Con a handful of times and have always been interested in suiting up but i had no idea where to start. I've seen iron man armor with a automatic retracting face plate, power rangers, Master Chief, other Marvel, DC characters, some anime ones and really thought about being Ryu from Street Fighter. Soo many options! Then one day i switched to TNT's Star Wars marathon and it hit me. Boba Fett!! i thought to myself, how could i overlook Boba Fett! So here I am. Unfortunately im pretty busy nowadays and really wanna get something together before Halloween. I rather gather everything i need and attempt to paint armor pieces than to make it right now. So who can give a helping hand? i was thinking about starting with the helmet first because i really dont want it disproportionate. I'm 5''6 160 ibs. the radius of my noggin is around 53.5 cm.

Some of more things about me, my hobbies are cars, sports, xbox, movies, comics, ect. and hoping to add cosplay to the mix.

p.s. I liked Star Wars Episode 1, r.i.p. Qui Gon Jinn

Unfortunately if you're looking to have the costume done by Halloween its going to be VERY difficult. Especially if your looking to have a good quality costume. Are you planning on going for 501st certification and do you know which version of Fett you prefer between ESB or ROTJ?

I do like the ESB version alot more and I havent looked at the certifications, not too worried at the moment but as far as the helmet material goes I'm looking for something resin based instead of cardboard material. Where theres a will there's a way right?! I'll be fine if I have something for that day even if it's still incomplete ie: armor, suit helmet, blaster boots, belt

It certainly can be done but what you're going to run into is some of the venders here to get quality parts have wait times in the months. Speaking of the helmet specifically since you're on a tight deadline I would recommend Tommyboy, ToEleven, and Wasteland. I have no idea what their current wait times are but from what I'm seeing Animefan, Darth Voorhees, Bobamaker, and Fettpride probably wont be able to get you a helmet in time. That doesn't mean that it wouldn't hurt to contact them because everyone I mentioned makes great helmets. I'm sure I missed some other makers as well. Another option is to look through the cargo hold and see if any helmets are up for sale right now. Even though you're a new member and can't post in the cargo hold yet you can still PM the sellers to get in contact with them. If you have any questions use the search feature to help learn and feel free to ask. Good luck with your build!

Awesome!! i was looking at Tommyboy's stuff on eBay but wasn't sure if i wanted to pull the trigger or not and unfortunately ToEleven is booked till December. Thanks for shedding light on things though i really appreciate it!!
