New guy from South Carolina

New Hunter
I have been browsing this site off and on for a while, just never bothered to register. I have been going to con's like SDCC, NYCC, DragonCon, etc for years, but usually as a photographer. I've always wanted to make a boba fett costume, among others. I'm hoping this year to actually start working on a full Boba Fett suit for DC next year. I never really knew just how much went into making a costume like this, as most of the costumes I've done in the past did not involve all that much.

I'm originally from Mississippi, but moved to Charleston, SC a few years ago. I was married for several years, and during that time stopped going to cons and things like that, and after being divorced a few years I've decided to start going again (Just attended DragonCon 2013).. and most importantly, I've decided to finally build that Fett Costume I've been putting off. This place has a LOT of awesome info, so I'm hoping I'll be able to figure out exactly what I need to do to make a fairly accurate costume.

Wish me luck, I'm going to need it!

Thanks guys!

I was thinking of doing RotJ, I didn't even realize how many different versions there were. I haven't seen much of the PrePro stuff so I figured I'd stick with on-screen stuff.

ESB ESB ESB. It doesn't really matter though, fett is the man in any version. Do lots of research and stay away from eBay. That's the best advice I can give you.

Thanks JC27. I usually try and stay away from ebay for the most part anyway :) I'm probably going to buy some of the pieces from sources on here, but make as much of the costume myself as possible.

Ah cool Negative, that'd be awesome. I'm in Mississippi for a few days right now because my grandfather passed away on Friday :( .. but we could try to hang out sometime soon.
