Hi Everybody,

I've been a member for a few months now but never posted before this week so I thought I better do a belated introduction.

I joined due to making myself the Boba Fett concept version from the abandoned Star Wars 1313 game, although my first Boba Fett costume was from way back in 1980 for the school fancy dress disco (I was 9).

I am really enjoying this build as my normal job is recreating historical props and leatherwork so it's nice to be doing something from my own time period (even if it was technically a long time ago in a galaxy far far away).

Anyways, hello to everyone and I will see you all out there in the forum (and hopefully at some events)

Hi scfett, good to meet you. I used to live in Yorkshire for a while (Wakefield).

I'm mainly gathering items together for my build at the moment. I am doing the Star Wars 1313 concept version of Boba fett so I have the following:

Flight Suit
Knee Armour
Shoulder Armour
Steel Helmet (with servo, fan and microphone electronics to go in it)
Custom girth belt
Boots
Cape
Gloves
ESB EE-3 Blaster
Thermal Detonator
Boot Knife

I've got a lot of the greeblies, leather belts and pouches cut out so I just need to assemble these. I am also working on the rifle he has on his back and the pistol sidearm. I am hoping to have it all done by Star Wars Celebration this year.

Aah nice, I'm on the Yorkshire coast..yeah I'm currently prepping my rotj boba...the 1313 has Beedon my radar to. Would love to see progress pics....I did make a mandi rifle based this version currently ivegot custom boots girth and among belt...boba maker is making me the flight suit,vest,seal and gloves. Need to locate armour now which I'm hoping I can find on the cargo hold. Got my lid done painted and install. Was looking at having servo rangerfinder

Have you been watching the thread with the Aluminium Armour that cyberpyrot is making and jonbenm is painting? That stuff is awesome (costs a lot though):

just had a good read through the thread, that armour is amazing...would be the dream to own that haha where did you get your armour from? im finding it difficult to locate over here

I got my shoulder armour and knee armour from people who were selling it off in the Cargo Hold. I want to upgrade them to Aluminium at some point but I thought I'd buy these to be getting on with. The only people I know that does the armour over here is RS Propmasters but I think they might be a bit backlogged so there will probably be a wait.

I think once I'm past the new member stage, I'll go to the cargo hold and see what's about..thanks yeah rs propmasters aren't doing to much fett gear now..only bits and pieces of chest armour

I think you can actually go into the cargo hold but you cant post on anything in there. If you see something you want to buy though you can just PM the seller. Thats what I do as I havent hit 50 posts yet so cant post in there either

Another good place to keep your eye out is over on the RPF forum as I've seen Mando parts come up on there before too.
