Hello From Florida!!!

Hi there! So exicted to be here! Literally joined a few days ago. Only 16 so I would say I'm on the younger end of the community. I'm going to try crafting a mandalorian set of armor and I've decided to make it out of sintra. I was wondering if it is possible to make one by Halloween? This one doesn't have to be too detailed but will I be able to make it in time? Also: what kind of adhesive works best to glue pieces together? Thank you all so much and I really hope to make something great! Suggestions are welcome

You can certainly make it by Halloween but even then that's going to be a tough deadline to meet. If you're looking to do a completely custom mando I'd recommend checking out the mandalorian mercs page as well. They will have more information geared towards custom jobs instead of the cannon bounty hunters. Good luck on your build and welcome to the forum!

Welcome! It's doable, you've got a couple of months at least. Will largely depend on your so-called spare time and skill, and your organization. I suggest starting with a list of what you want to make, then break it down in steps. Part of this is to give you something to check off progress on, which is motivating.

I used 3mm sintra for my second set of Fett armor. Being PVC, I found that plumber's cement for PVC pipe does a nice job of chemically welding the parts together. It's smelly and needs time to dry though.
