New Hunter
I posted in another "intro" thread in the "Sarlacc Pit" not having seen this section (I'm getting old:confused) so I'll just re-post what I had there...
My name is Mike Orona, I am a 45 year old disability retired Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy... Due to multiple injuries over my 16+ year career I don't get around very well but on the bright side, get all the good parking spaces now at least (gotta look at the bright-side lol)... I've also have been able to raise my now 4 year old Son as I was retired right after he was born... Life doesn't shut a door without opening a window....
I am here now to build props and such for my own personal collection... I have a thing for helmets and guns from Star Wars, what can I say...
Here's a photo of some of the stuff I've accumalated and still working on...

Thanks for letting me take part...

I am in Whittier, far east end of L.A. County bordering La Habra, Orange County...
I've picked up about 6 more buckets since this photo was taken (SGB Neyo, GM, AT-TE & BARC as well as a MLC Biker Scout and Pghfett Beehive)...
I like helmets can you tell??? Of the 6 new ones only the Neyo and Biker Scout are finished, it's hard finding time when my little Dude DEMANDS so much attention (but he's MORE than worth it:love)... I have an old DP Fett helmet I bought back in 1994 and am working on getting a fiberglass job to build up just for fun...
I also build LARGE WWII armor (Tiger I, Panther, Jagdpanther, etc etc) in 1:6 scale (you can see more of that stuff on this link http://mysite.verizon.net/res6tvm7/)and collect firearms ( VERY hard to do in the "Peoples Republic of California" )... I just like too much stuff...
